Pro-abortion advocates often attempt to justify abortion with some interesting analogies or claims that on the surface seem to have some legitimacy. But it is fundamental to spend time questioning the validity of the analogy or claim with reason and logic no matter where that leads.
One very popular pro-abortion argument is the claim that every person has the right to bodily autonomy, which translates to having the “right to abort a pre-born human,” if you don’t want it in your body.
The Question:
If abortion becomes illegal in America, should anyone who then procures an abortion be punished under the law?
The Blunders:
"No. The woman is a victim too."
"Yes. She should be prosecuted for murder."
"Not sure. I haven't thought about it."
A national pro-life organization sent out a fundraising letter highlighting a blog penned by one of their assistant directors.The blog shares the assistant director's personal experience with an abortionist on an airplane trip and how he handled the unexpected encounter.*
As I read about the encounter, it broke my heart how he handled the experience, but even worse, the national director lifted up his encounter as a witness for the pro-life cause and praised him for his efforts.
